A Bit Of Heritage
History abounds in the Fens. Come and see how they were made by paying a visit to The Pinchbeck Engine, a working drainage engine used to create the landscape of the Fens.
Travel at a sedate pace into yesteryear at the Gordon Boswell Romany Museum in Spalding. See original Romany caravans and experience what life was like on the open road.
For a bit of military history pay a visit to the South Lincolnshire Military Museum. Originally a private collection of military memorabilia, it is now open to the public.
For those who like their heritage a bit older then you must come and see the magnificent remains of Crowland Abbey. This centuries old relic was a major influence on the region's economy when the ancient monks held sway over the river trade.
